How can you make summer your best selling season?

CHALLENGE:

It’s summertime. Three months that should be prime selling time. But, your potential buyers are crazy busy. How do you get them interested in visiting a community or stay on their radar amid the pandemonium of summer?

SOLUTION: 

Plan a series of fun activities that is aimed specifically at families. We helped this home builder, whose tagline is “Simply Happy”, create the “Summer of Smiles”, three once-a-month events, including a BBQ, a movie night, and an ice cream social. These family-friendly events are open to potential buyers as well as current residents, and are taking place across a variety of communities throughout the Philadelphia, New York and south Jersey regions.

We created a variety of materials, from eblasts to banners to a coloring book, all reinforcing the “Summer of Smiles” theme. And each region/community has the opportunity to adapt the message

for their event. For instance, while most communities had a traditional barbeque food truck, one of the more upscale communities had a French creperie food truck instead.

So far, the result has been outstanding. Despite rain on the day of the BBQ, all of the participating communities had a great turn-out.

Plus, sales team membersOrleans Summer of Smiles are at every event, interacting with current homeowners, as well as introducing potential homeowners to their new neighbors. How’s that for making contact and generating interest, while having a little fun?
